Curb Appeal
Start with the outside of your home, or your curb appeal. Examine the exterior of your house from the view of a passerby. What jumps out at you? What awesome characteristics seem hidden? Acknowledging this helps us to choose what actions we can take to invite buyers from the street and into your home. If your house isn't at its best on the outside with touched up paint and colorful garden plants we'll need to tackle those issues. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and boost your house's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Can buyers envision themselves lounging in your living room, unwinding in your reading nook or hosting a dinner in your dining room? We want your house to welcome buyers and give them a sense of easy living. I'll help you accomplish this by suggesting changes that highlight your home's features. I'll suggest that you eliminate items that give the look of clutter. Table and counter tops should be cleared off. Arts and crafts, souvenirs, family photos, and play time drawings should get stored away too. We need to give mass appeal to the place so buyers can see it as their new house.
I know instantly what a room's best characteristics are and how to show them off. I'll point out the pieces of furniture that should be removed, rooms that need new paint, carpet needing to be changed, fixtures that could use brightening, and any other improvement that can quickly be made to positively impact the sale.
Buyers' agents know that their clients like a house that draws them in with charm. Everything that could be uninviting should go into storage so that your place will have have general appeal at the open house.

Setting the Stage During your Open House, we want to capture buyers' attention. Lighting is critical and we'll part the curtains, and change light bulbs where needed to welcome the buyer. We'll enhance the air of the house with enjoyable music to listen to while guests take a walk-through of your home and ensure a nice fragrance flows room-to-room. We'll add cozy-looking blankets, and pillows on your couch and bedding. Buyers should feel like your current home is their future home. |
